No physical connection between the 2m and 70cm elements. The 2nd 432 element is a parasitic driven element. I modeled this with 4nec2. I get 11 dbi on 2m and 12.4 dbi on 432! It appears that the SWR on 70cm is very dependent on the length of the 432 driver and its distance from the 144 driven element. The 2.0 SWR bandwidth is fairly narrow, so you need very accurate measurements constructing this antenna.
Hello everybody! I want to make 2+70 moxon antenna with moxon on 144 and 3 el Yagi for 435 Can you recalculate it for 6.5 aluminium wire. Thanks a lot by UB8JAS
I have done a bit with the Moxon antenna geometry and also a bit with the WA5VJB style Yagi-Uda so I am intrigued with the idea of combining the two like this, It's really interesting that you figured out a way to make it dual band without a physical electrical connection to the 70CM driven element, I'm assuming that's done with near field inductance? Anyway, I was wondering if you could share the formulas you used to come up with this design? This looks like it would be a fantastic antenna for satellite work and those directivity numbers are impressive so it certainly suggests other possible uses at lower frequencies. Is the takeoff angle comparable to the standard Moxon?
Thanks to your design i made a similar moxon with the parasitic element and it worked great on the AO-92 this morning. Here is a link to my instagram account to see it in action. My 4 year old named the antenna 'The BeeWasp' I guess because of the paint job i gave it. The BeeWasp works great for repeaters and satellites. Best 73. K5CLC. Chris
699mm is inner or outer diameter? I mean - should I add 2x thickness of welding rod (so treat the length as inner diameter) or substract 2x thickness of welding rod (outer)???
Finished this antenna today. Used 1/8" copper tubing. Mounted the elements to the 3/4" PVC using 3D printed parts. Heard AO-91 all the way down to the horizon. Waiting on my call sign so haven't tried transmitting yet.
Congratulations on the Antenna and Thanks for sharing the drawing. - It can be transmitted in UHF, or only RX UHF and TX VHF ???? - How can I adjust the SWR? 73

Pleas diameter elements ?
Hi, Alexander, 3mm in diam...
Please, 3 questions.
1) Numbers in feet, centimeters or inches?
2) No balun required?
3) I think it is 50 ohms. Thats right?
Thanks a lot
1. in mm....2. no balun....3. 50 ohms...Best DX dear Carlos...
Is there any connection between the 2m and 70cm antennas?
Regards

Hi, can I use a 3 mm rod to make the antenna?
yes, but model it with NEC. I used welding rod.
Hi, which material used for the elements? 73 PP5RD
Please,
Dimensions for 3/8" tubes (9,5 mm)?
Can you help me?

my moxon only hear the so-50 because where did I go wrong?
Hello! I have built two moxon yagis, but I can't get swr 2 or 2.5 in uhf. I don't know what I'm doing wrong 🤔 73 from Tenerife

Hello my friend, how many mm space between moxon feed point element and 325mm driven UHF element ? Thanks YG3FYQ 73

TX and RX on both bands. If I remember right, you adjust SWR by the 22mm distance between the driven element and the first director.
Puedo utilizar alambre de aluminio de 4,4 mm de diámetro para la construcción de esta antena?
