The idea is good but..... there is the groubd missing..... on the RF side !! You should split the 68n cap into two 68n in series and place the NEEDED RF ground in the middle !

Try the BAT62, it gives better results.

ReplyDeleteI was only thinking to send you a LTSpice file for a Simulation with BAT62 or others. In your design the RF ground is missing at all ???
In that way you make your results very dependent from the hand that hold the probe ?!
I am using the anti parallel BAT62 double diode also in the heads of an old URV5 ( R&S ) where it works great far into the GHz region,
